💬 Why I Started supportMYTEACHERs.COM
The idea for this site actually came from a conversation I had with a teacher — long after my own school days were over. He was talking about how underpaid teachers often are, and it got me thinking: How do we even measure a teacher’s true value? Unlike most jobs, you can’t easily track the "profits" a great teacher brings in. But we all know when a teacher makes a difference.
That’s when something clicked for me: What if there was a way for people to directly show how much a teacher meant to them? That’s how TipMyTeacher.com was born.
It’s a simple platform where anyone — a former student, a grateful parent, or even a random supporter — can send a support gift and a personal thank-you message to a teacher who mattered.
Everything is private, and every show of support counts the same. It’s not about who can give the most — it’s about saying, “You made an impact.” Because when someone says, “You mattered,” that’s something money alone can’t measure.
